High and low season change everything
Fortim is a seasonal destination, and the restaurant scene follows the crowd. In high season and through the windy months, when Pontal fills with kitesurfers, almost everything is open and the choice is good. Outside that, some places cut back their opening days or close the kitchen earlier.
If you are travelling out of season, confirm by phone or WhatsApp before setting out — especially for dinner, and especially if you are coming from Barra do Fortim over to Pontal.
